PSA to whitefolks
If you’re ever in a discussion with a person of colour and you think you’re right and they think you’re wrong, stop talking. You are, by default, wrong. We are the masters of our own oppressions, not you. You have no business trying to express your opinions in that conversation. Your opinions are not welcome. What you need to do is stop talking, listen, absorb, and then try to live your life by what we have told you. THAT’S ALL MARGINALISED PEOPLE WANT.
But if white people are really good at it, doesn’t that also make them experts on the subject?
How is one the “master” of their own oppression?
